I hate when people say money doesn’t buy you happiness. it does. it buys you financial stability, a nice house, nice cars, nice vacations and trips, healthier food, a better education, etc. like wearing burberry while driving around in an audi would probably make me pretty happy too. but it’s just that rich people often take their comfortable lives for granted and end up being spoiled and ungrateful for what they have
Money buys you things. Things give you temporary happiness. When you have everything and have done everything, what happens then? Genuine relationships are harder to come by when people know you’re rich. If it doesn’t change who you are as a person, it’ll change how some of the people around you view you. No one wants to be a lonely soul buying material possessions trying to obtain happiness. No matter your situation, try to be joyful and content. Happiness is fleeting. Joy is constant.
